An elite tackling performance last week by Tristan Klock helped St. Thomas More (LA) secure their third win of the season.

He was all over the field with 12 tackles, only 0.6 yards after contact per tackle, and elite numbers across the board. He is this week's Atavus Player of the Week, presented by Autessa.

Can you answer now just how you tackled, but how your tackling is impacting the game?

We can. At this midpoint of the season, one of the biggest and most costly issues we currently see across the board is leverage angle issues.

Big plays are what can make a difference in the outcome of games. Angle issues when tackling are one of the biggest culprits of that. When they happen, players only make the tackle 25% of the time, give up over 6 yards after contact, and explosive plays happen 18% of the time.

How quickly can issues like this be identified and fixed? Immediately. Our Tackle Performance Assessment identifies your own program's biggest issues, implements a plan, and sees measurable improvement in as little as a week.

Army West Point's Elijah Walton was about as effective as a player can be, making 8/9 tackles and giving up less than half a yard after contact per tackle.

His performance helped lead Army West Point to a win over Temple and earned him Atavus' College Player of the Week, presented by Autessa.

We're excited to announce our newest Tackle Consulting Partnership with the Highland Park High School Football Program (Dallas, TX).
