"It’s been a month since my soul cat, dapper Peanut in his tuxedo, crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully at home. He is sorely missed by his hoomans but also by his sister Penny, who is now left as the only cat in the household. We got them as kittens and Peanut was with us for 18 love filled years. He was a puppy cat, came when you called, always wanting to be close to you, and turned into putty when you picked him up. He was so sweet, cuddly and huggable, the best boy with big paws.
He moved across the Atlantic with me - twice. He was there before I got married, had a baby and helped me through many tough times. I will hold on tightly to the memories and he will forever have a piece of my heart ❤️
I am so grateful for Dr Black for his calm presence and for making Peanut’s last moments pain free and peaceful. Peanut approved of him as well, getting up from his bed to greet Dr Black when he arrived at our house 🥹"
Rest easy, precious Peanut 🖤🤍

Compassion 4 Paws is honored to offer a gentle and environmentally friendly aftercare option for your beloved pets - water cremation, also known as aquamation or alkaline hydrolysis.
In this process, your pet is lovingly placed in a specially designed chamber filled with warm water and natural minerals. This gentle method mirrors nature’s way of returning life to the earth, allowing tissues to break down naturally while preserving the bone. The remaining water is safe for the environment and reintroduced to the earth, ensuring a peaceful and respectful transition. 💙
At Compassion 4 Paws, we believe that the love you shared with your pet lives on forever. We are here to support you during this difficult time by providing a meaningful and compassionate farewell. 🌈
If you have any questions about aquamation, please visit our website or connect with a Care Coordinator to learn more. 🐾

That same kindness and love extends far beyond her work and into the lives of the people and pets she holds close. We’re so grateful for the heart Maria brings to everything she does and for the wonderful person she is both inside and outside of Compassion 4 Paws. We’re so lucky to have you, Maria! 🧡

"My family and I would like to thank you ALL for being there for us as we said goodbye to our most amazing best friend in this world, Jackson. The past month has been excruciating to say the least, but it was made easier because every single person I talked to and met with at your organization was EXCEPTIONAL. From all of the coordinators who were so kind and always had the right thing to say as we navigated this very difficult decision, to the two veterinarians who came to our house to walk us through this process and to help say goodbye to Jackson in the most loving way possible.
Drs. Hagen and Edwards- words written down here today just don’t seem adequate for the appreciation and respect we all have for you. Thank you for walking us all through this process so that we all felt very comfortable with our decision. Thank you for the time you took with each of us as we welcomed you into this very private and painful decision. We look back on this now, after many days of feeing this incredible loss, with gratitude and appreciation.
Thank you, most of all, for seeing and hearing Jackson at your first visit and understanding/witnessing the love we had for our special boy. I think if we were to ask Jackson ( and he could tell us) about his last hour of life on this earth, he would thank you all as well for making it special, pain-free and peaceful. I believe he would also ask for another cheeseburger. 😊
We are heartbroken to put it mildly, AND we are comforted to know about your amazing organization for the future when this unthinkable decision taps us again. "
Rest easy, precious Jackson 💛🐾
