Remembering September 11, 2001.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who showed incredible courage and selflessness in the face of tragedy.

We will always remember the strength, unity, and compassion that brought people together in the days that followed.

Remember. Honor. Never Forget.

📅 Please note: Our office will be closed today, Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

When you're touring a home, it's easy to get distracted by the beautiful kitchen, updated bathrooms, spacious bedrooms and backyard.

But there's one thing you don't want to overlook: THE ROOF. 👀

Before you fall in love with a house, take a few minutes to look up and check for:

🔎 Missing, cracked or curling shingles — These can be signs that the roof is aging or damaged.

🔎 Sagging areas — A roof should have a consistent, straight appearance. Sagging can indicate a more serious issue.

🔎 Damaged or worn flashing — Pay attention around chimneys, vents, skylights and other roof penetrations.

🔎 Heavy granule buildup in gutters — Excessive granules can be a sign that asphalt shingles are wearing down.

🔎 The age of the roof — Ask when it was installed and whether there are any records or warranties available.

Buying a home is a big investment. Make sure you know what's overhead before you make an offer. 🏠

Copper can be used for a variety of applications outside a home, including gutters, roofing, weathervanes and other accents.

In addition to its beauty, other benefits of copper include:
➡️It's durability: Copper can last up to 50 years+ with regular maintenance. Copper is highly resistant to fire, mildew and hail.
➡️It's weight: because copper is light-weight material, it won’t put the stress on your home like other, heavier metals.
➡️It's efficiency: copper does a great job reflecting sunlight and its heat, allowing you to better control your heating and cooling costs.

✨ Thinking about adding copper to your home? Whether you're considering copper gutters, or a unique accent, Custom Installations can help bring your vision to life.
