It was a pleasure to welcome several distinguished guests to the Rotary Club of Murrells Inlet today!

Thank you to U.S. Congressman Russell Fry (SC-07), State Representative Heather Crawford (District 68), and State Representative Lee Hewitt (District 76) for joining us and sharing your time with our members.

Rotary is at its best when community leaders come together to discuss the issues, opportunities, and partnerships that help strengthen Murrells Inlet, Georgetown County, Horry County, and the Grand Strand.

The Murrells Inlet Rotary Flounder Tournament organizers wish to thank all anglers and sponsors for their participation and support, which have made this year's event successful. The winners will be announced in the next couple of days.

We had a nice turn out tonight with over seventy five anglers. Stop by Crazy Sister Marina tomorrow and watch the weigh ins on the hour starting at 7:00 am until 3:00 pm. This is a catch and release Flounder Tournament with SCDNR taking samples, measurements , etc before we release back into the Murrells Inlet estuaries. Thanks to all the sponsors and anglers for helping us help others. Tight lines to all involved.
