PJ's Pieces

🌴 From Georgetown Freebie to Coastal Beauty! 🌴

Sometimes a “freebie” comes with a little adventure attached. 😂

My friend Liz turned us on to this pencil reed palm tree server, and naturally I said, “Mr. Possibilities, we need to go get this!”

So…Sunday drive to Georgetown it was. 🚗💨

She had great bones, but definitely needed a little PJ’s Pieces magic. Mr. Possibilities gave her a fresh coat of Sherwin-Williams White Duck, and WOW…what a difference!

Now this girl is bright, coastal, and ready for her next home. 🤍🌴

And did I mention she was FREE? 👀
Those are my favorite four letters in furniture flipping!

One more piece picked up, one more “tired” piece turned into something beautiful.

So proud of my amazing friend, Susan, for taking home GOLD for Best of the Beach with her shop, Room Service Too! 🏆✨

Please join me in congratulating her in the comments, and if you haven’t visited her shop yet, this is your sign to go check out the best of the best! 🥂🌊

OPEN TWO MONTHS. NOMINATED. WON GOLD—TWICE! BEST OF THE BEACH!

Well… apparently we weren't done with this Pier 1 find. 🤍🌊

When we found the matching vintage Pier 1 wicker nightstands, we were already pretty happy with ourselves.

Then we found the trunk. 😍

And honestly, this one stopped me in my tracks.

The woven wicker, the beautiful carved decorative detail, the braided trim and all that coastal character make this such a special piece. It has that classic Pier 1 look that feels right at home in a beach house.

And the best part? No big project for Mr. Possibilities this time! 🙌😂

After being gone for our son's wedding and coming home to catch up on everything, it was awfully nice to find some beautiful pieces that didn't need us to sand, fill, repair, paint and question our life choices. 😂

This trunk is perfect at the foot of a bed, but I could also see it working beautifully in a living room, entryway or guest room for storing blankets, pillows, linens and all those things you want nearby but don't necessarily want to see.

And yes… it's Pier 1, just like the matching nightstands. ❤️

Sometimes the fun isn't in the transformation.
Sometimes it's just in finding the right piece.

Available through PJ’s Pieces 🌴
Picking up the pieces, one piece at a time.

Every once in a while, we get lucky… and the furniture doesn’t need Mr. Possibilities. 😂

After all the wedding craziness—we're both recovering from all things wedding after our son just got married! 💍❤️—it was especially nice to find these matching vintage Pier 1 wicker nightstands that were already perfect just the way they were.

No sanding.
No filling.
No painting.
No “I have an idea…” from Mr. Possibilities. 😂

Just a beautiful matching pair with gorgeous woven wicker, decorative detailing and those original shell-style pulls that give them so much coastal character.

Sometimes the best projects are the ones you don't have to do!

And after the last few weeks, I have to admit… finding furniture that didn't give us more work was a pretty great wedding gift. 😂🌴

These would be perfect in a beach house, guest room, primary bedroom or vacation rental and are ready to go straight to their next home.

And now for the best part… ❤️

After all the sanding, painting, creating, and wedding projects, we finally get to share the reason behind it all. 🥰

Our son and his beautiful new wife! ❤️

We may be a little biased, but we think they make a pretty amazing couple. Watching them start this next chapter together has been such a special gift for us.

And yes… Mr. Possibilities and Mrs. Possibilities may have gotten a little sentimental along the way. 🥹❤️

Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, adventures, and possibilities for these two! 🥂✨

Welcome to the family, Krista! ❤️

Remember that old headboard I found for a special project? 👀

Well… Mr. Possibilities worked his magic! ✨

What started out as an old headboard got a whole new life as the seating chart for our son’s wedding! ❤️

A little cleaning, a lot of sanding, some paint, and a whole lot of Mr. Possibilities magic later… and it became something pretty special. 🥰

I absolutely LOVE how it turned out—and even better, it got to be part of such a special day for our family. ❤️

Who knew an old headboard could find a second life at a wedding?!

♻️✨

The Night Before… ❤️

Before the wedding day arrived, we got to celebrate Josh & Krista with a special evening surrounded by family and friends. 🥰

And we had the perfect spot to display some of their favorite memories together. We took the screen Mr. Possibilities had reworked and turned it into a sweet little photo display for their rehearsal dinner.

With a little greenery, twinkle lights, their photos, and the “Welcome to the Night Before” sign, it made the perfect backdrop for an Italian Bistro themed evening filled with laughter, love, and a whole lot of anticipation for what was to come. ✨

There’s something so special about looking back at where their story began while getting ready to celebrate the beginning of their next chapter. ❤️

One more Possibilities project that made its way into a very special day. 🥰

And of course… Mr. Possibilities to the rescue! 😉❤️
