On September 11, 2001, the US experienced one of the most shocking and unsettling tragedies in history. The September 11th attacks took the lives of over 3,000 individuals.
This terrorist attack demonstrated the worst of people but brought out the best of our nation. The American people, especially those in New York, rose from the ashes and banded together in unprecedented support.
Today, we recognize and honor those who lost their lives in this tragedy. Whether they were victims of the attack or those who volunteered.
We take a moment of silence to show our respects, so that their legacy may live on, and their memory will never be forgotten.

This 140-year-old holiday is to recognize the men and women who contributed to the prosperity, success, and economic development of our country in formative years.

Today our office is closed and we show our appreciation for laborers, past and present, and the hard work, dedication, and sacrifice made to help create a nation that is as wonderful as it is.

September brings a change of seasons, the beginning of fall, and an opportunity to take stock of where we stand as we enter the final stretch of 2026. While the concrete foundation was poured months ago, something remarkable has happened recently. The walls have begun to rise. As each beam, stud, and support is carefully placed, it's a reminder that every lasting structure depends on thoughtful planning and purposeful construction.

As we look around, it’s so easy to get hung up on the negative events and circumstances that surround us. Wars overseas, political clashes and social tensions. And with social media and news outlets expounding on the conflicts nonstop, it’s understandable how it can all become too much.

But, if you take a step back, and look with a different perspective, you will see what we see: FREEDOM.
This July 4th, we are more thankful than ever to be a member of this incredible nation. A nation where our voice is free to speak our thoughts. I am proud to be a citizen of a country that encourages such passion and pushes the limits of what is possible.

All of us are forever indebted to those men and women who have made the greatest sacrifice so that all Americans are afforded the freedoms we have. Their service has made our dreams possible.
To every person who has served, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
And as you celebrate today, I hope you can all find a way to honor what this holiday is truly about.
