Willow Ridge

Baby #3 arrived May 18th. Willow Ridge Yasmine (Elke x Ragnar) has a beautiful red c**t. I was so excited to have a maiden mare from my breeding, it took me a couple days to realize that he was a red dun. This guy is sweet, has legs for days, and momma is very smitten with him. Yasmine is doing great as a first time momma and WHR Freyr has another c**t in the books this season.

Baby #2 has arrived... Willow Ridge Vala has a big, bouncing boy! we've produced 2 amazing babies so far, with a few left to hit the ground this season!

After 2 weeks of getting up multiple times a night, checking the camera on our youngest maiden mare Sylvia... we were graced with a big, beautiful boy at the reasonable hour of 6am this morning.

Lots of new changes happening on the farm! We've added 2 large dry lots and 4 single dry lots with shelters so far. 1 more large lot and 4 more single lots in the next couple of weeks!

Our chickens are laying! Anyone want eggs, we have dozens packaged and ready to go!

We've been working on a new layout for our paddocks to maximize dry lot space and create another pasture for grazing. Making the new paddocks mud free and encourage natural herd behaviors is the priority for us, while keeping the herd safe and clean all winter.
