Spoiler: We want the real one.

No filters. No fluff. Just a safe space to talk about what’s real.

Somewhere underneath the schedules, errands, workdays, dishes, appointments and everything else life asks of you is the connection that brought you together in the first place.

The laughter. The anticipation. The attraction. The feeling of choosing each other.

Strong relationships don’t stay strong by accident. They need little moments that refill the cup and remind you, there you are.

Make the reservation. Take the walk. Sit a little longer at the table. Flirt again. Laugh about something ridiculous. Find your way back to the parts of each other that can get buried under all the doing.

Connection doesn’t always need a grand gesture. Sometimes it just needs a little space.

Make time. Find moments. Keep choosing each other.

🌻 And if you could use some help reconnecting, we are here to help you find your way back to each other.

The 5 o’clock whistle blew. Now what?

The workday may be done, but your brain doesn’t always clock out with you.

How you spend the next few hours matters. A little movement. Dinner. Something that makes you laugh. Less screen time. A chance to actually come down from the day.

And then, SLEEP!

Sleep is more than the end of your day. It’s part of how your mind and body reset, process, recharge and get ready to do it all again tomorrow.

Tonight, don’t just stop working; give yourself a chance to actually unwind.
Tomorrow-you will appreciate it.

One of the things we hear often about the Good Therapy team is how easy they are to talk to.

Warm. Relatable. Approachable. Real.

Yes, they’re highly trained. But they’re also people who know how important it is to feel comfortable, understood and genuinely seen by the person sitting across from you.

That human connection matters. A lot.

Good therapy isn’t just about credentials. It’s about finding someone you can trust enough to do the work with. And, we're so proud for being known as a practice that just gets it.

Su***de Prevention Month doesn’t have to be about fear.

It can be about paying attention.

Someone pulling away. A noticeable change in mood. A friend who suddenly stops showing up. A teenager who just doesn’t seem like themselves. Sometimes the most important thing we can do is notice when something has changed and be willing to ask about it.

You don’t need perfect words. You don’t need to diagnose what’s happening.

You can simply say, “I’ve noticed you haven’t seemed like yourself lately. How are you really doing?”

Our latest blog shares warning signs worth knowing, how to start the conversation, and what to do when someone tells you they’re struggling.

Awareness matters. Conversation matters. Checking in matters.

Support isn’t only for the hardest moments.

Sometimes it’s for the season that looks fine from the outside but feels heavier than expected. Sometimes it’s for a transition, a relationship, a loss, a new role, a new chapter, or simply the feeling that something needs attention.

Mental health care should be there for all of it. At every age.
At every stage. In every season.

That’s what Good Therapy is here for. Always.

Good Therapy believes in therapy that looks a lot like a card game.

No, it's not a break from the work. Sometimes, that is the work.

For children and teens, sitting face-to-face and answering questions about feelings can feel like a lot. Play gives them another way in.

A game can lower the pressure, build trust and create natural opportunities to practice things like communication, patience, frustration tolerance, problem-solving and emotional regulation. It can also give a therapist a window into how a child responds when things don’t go their way, when they have to wait, when they win, when they lose, or when something feels hard.

And somewhere between the cards, the laughter and the conversation, kids often begin sharing things they may not have known how to say when asked directly.

That’s the beauty of play therapy: meeting kids in a language that already feels natural to them.

What can therapy do for your child?
Quick answer... A LOT!

Therapy...
Teaches emotion regulation.
Builds coping skills for anxiety or ADHD.
Improves school behavior and focus.
Strengthens self-esteem and communication.
Supports YOU, the parent, along the way.

Child therapy isn’t “fixing” problems.
It’s building lifelong tools and creating a more peaceful family dynamic while we’re at it.

Therapy doesn’t have to begin with a crisis.

Sometimes it starts because you’re tired of carrying the same stress. Because a relationship feels off. Because you want to understand yourself better. Or simply because life has been a lot lately.

We don’t wait until everything falls apart to take care of the rest of our health. Mental health deserves that same kind of attention.

Therapy can be maintenance. Prevention. Growth. A check-in. A place to sort through life before it becomes too heavy.

That’s the kind of normal we’re after.
