The Czabok Simpson Motorsport #2 piloted by Gordon Scully started 15th for the IMSA Road America 120 and moved up to 10th before the first full course yellow, which initiated a driver change to Morgan Burkhard, full fuel, 4 new Michelin Motorsport rain tires, and a brilliant pit stop led to a move up to 8th place when the green flag waved again. Then came the “disruptor” decision to pit two laps into Morgan’s stint for slicks and fuel top off, which allowed for several clear track laps and now a run to the checkered flag. Had to take a few races off to attend to some personal matters (all very good and positive) but now “I’m back!” Great to be out with the CSM guys and girls at Road America for the IMSA Michelin Motorsport Pilot Challenge and Porsche Motorsport North America Carrera Cup races this weekend. Even better is sharing the outbox with our favorite up and coming motorsports engineers, Tia Davi, who is assisting before heading to Purdue Engineering to start her Motorsports Engineering studies. Tomorrow will be the MPC race and there will be three Cup races over the next three days 🤙🏼

What an amazing race for the #3 GT4RS driven by .burkhard and . A great pitstop and strategy by the team and an incredible last few laps by Morgan who moved up from 5th to 2nd led to a well desired podium finish. This result will do well to lift the spirits and have everyone looking forward to the next race . Cheers!!🍾🥂🤙🏼

Out in (Laguna Seca) for round 3 of the Pilot Challenge with . The weather feels more like back home in Chicago and the weekend for the #3 GT4RS being piloted by and has not been smooth sailing so it has been all hands on deck much of the weekend but the team has been up to the task getting the car out just in time to put in a few qualifying laps yesterday. That said, the #2 being piloted by .burkhard and has had an easier weekend. We are just over an hour from the green flag. Join us on or for all the action.
