Boatman Ricci is continuing to expand its legal team, as we've recently welcomed Daniel Orangio to the Firm as an Associate Attorney!
An accomplished Ave Maria School of Law graduate, Daniel's practice has a strong foundation in civil litigation, having represented clients in construction defect disputes, motor vehicle negligence cases, personal injury matters, contract disputes, and trust and estate litigation. Daniel approaches every matter with careful preparation and a genuine investment in his clients' outcomes, tailoring his strategy to each client's particular circumstances and goals.
We are excited to have Daniel join our legal team in serving our clients across the state!

Boatman Ricci has had the privilege of having some wonderful Summer staff join us to build their understanding of the legal industry!
We've been excited to welcome Alexandra Koliichuk and Alissia Rocchio as interns; with both to soon complete their undergraduate studies, their time at the Firm has provided them the opportunity to gain an inside look at the practice of litigation - insight which will guide them as they enter post-graduate education.
We've also been joined by Rachel Rose Kogan, MBA, Shannon Lenahan, and Camryn Cassetori as Summer Clerks. These three law students have greatly assisted our attorneys in case research and document drafting, demonstrating their growing legal acumen and task management skills.
We wish both our clerks and our interns the best of luck as they return to their studies this fall!
Ultimately, every estate arrangement is different, but there are many red flags that can reflect an undue influence; one of the most common warning signs we see are last-minute changes to a well-arranged, preexisting will, especially with elders in a weakened mental state.
In estate litigation, there are three essential legal elements required to establish an undue influence case: the substantial benefit received by the person in a confidential relationship with the deceased, the existence of a confidential relationship involving reliance and trust, and the active participation of that person in procuring changes to the estate plan.
