JAMES R. MOORE VFW Post 8726

Hey friends! As we come off a busy month of events and head into the slow down of fall.. we have decided to take a pause on Fish Fry’s until January. Thank you as always for your support and understanding!! ❤️
See you in November for our Veteran’s Dinner!

Today, on Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day, we honor the strength and resilience of families whose loved ones gave their lives in service to our Nation. Your sacrifices will never be forgotten.

Stop by and say hi to Commander Matt and his daughter Maddy!! They’re on Main Street just south of the official Grape Fest Grounds! 🇺🇸

From Mike Joseph..

Hey Naples! There has been an open mic contest all summer at Birdhouse Brewery in Honeoye. Tonight there are 4 finalists, of which I am one of them. (Starts at 6pm) First prize is $500, and I’d like to win that for the Naples VFW’s 8th annual Wounded Warriors In Action Big Buck Hunt this fall. I need people to come and vote for me by writing my name on a ballot. It’s all about the number of votes! Come-on over to Birdhouse tonite and enjoy music, beverages and great food!

Happy Birthday Air Force!

79 years of breaking barriers—and counting. Happy birthday, U.S. Air Force! From the Bell X-1 to today’s Airmen, the legacy continues.
