We just got home after taking this incredible young man to college, and bittersweet doesn’t even begin to describe how we’re feeling.

Five years ago, we never could have imagined the journey ahead. It wasn’t always easy—there were plenty of bumps along the way—but watching you grow, mature, and overcome so much has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives.

Leaving you thousands of miles away was one of the hardest things we’ve ever done, but it was also one of the proudest moments of our lives. The house already feels a little quieter (and maybe a lot cleaner 😄), but knowing you’re chasing your dreams makes it all worth it.

Go make your mark on the world. Be brave, work hard, stay true to yourself, and never forget where home is. No matter how many miles separate us, you’ll always be our son, and we’ll always be your biggest fans. We love you more than words can say. 🤍🏜️🏈
