Meet Saffron ❤️

This dog is quite possibly the happiest girl her kennel volunteers have ever met. Saffron is super enthusiastic about life and absolutely loves being with people. She's handled introductions to other dogs — and a cat — very well, though all she really wants is love and attention from the people she meets.

Saffron is 44 pounds with perfectly floppy ears and always seems to have a big smile on her face. She loves playtime, especially her snake toy, and the sprinkler. After playing, she’s content to just lay next to her person and hang out.

The first lady isn't known for her standup comedy skills, but she got the crowd cackling on Wednesday with a single word she bizarrely attributed to her husband. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/melania-trump-empathy-crowd-laugh_n_69fbaa82e4b06e786e3c1e9c?ref=bffbhuffpost&ncid_tag=fcbklnkushpmg00000063&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook&utm_campaign=us_main&d_id=11888147
