Avow Kids recently took a field trip to Shy Wolf Sanctuary, where they learned about wolves and wolfdogs, connected with nature, and spent time together outside their usual setting.

Trips like this give kids space to explore, engage, and make new memories as they navigate grief and life’s big changes.

Last week, Avow celebrated National Assisted Living Facility Week!

Our Business Development team spent time out in the community, delivering gifts and treats to our incredible partners who care for Southwest Florida’s seniors every day.

At Avow, we’re proud to serve our senior community through hospice, palliative care, grief support, and home health care. But comprehensive care takes a village, and our Assisted Living Facility partners are an important part of that village.

Sending a Little Piece of Home to Our Troops!

Team Avow recently came together to collect donations in support of Faith Lutheran Church’s Holiday Care Package Drive, helping bring a little comfort and holiday cheer to local servicemen and servicewomen stationed overseas. Through this longstanding partnership,

Avow’s contributions have helped support the shipment of more than 12,000 care packages and over 100 tons of donated goods to troops serving abroad.

Celebrating our corporate partnership with Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens and the remarkable Thelma Hodges.

At 98, Thelma continues to be a beloved and respected part of the Naples community. A pioneer, longtime Avow supporter, member of our 1983 Society and Living Legacy Society, she has spent decades giving back and caring deeply for the community she calls home.

We’re grateful to Hodges Funeral Home and Thelma for their continued partnership and commitment to helping Avow provide comfort, care, and compassion to our community.

Thelma Hodges celebrates 98 years with a legacy of service Thelma Hodges moved to Naples in 1955 as one of the first nurses at NCH, helping build the hospital from the ground up in a small fishing village that grew rapidly after Hurricane Donna.

Avow had the pleasure of hosting Seniors Blue Book of Florida: Lee & Collier Counties’ Marketing Mania this week. Local senior care and marketing professionals came together to build relationships and learn more about the resources available across Southwest Florida.

When local professionals connect, it strengthens the network of care available to seniors, patients, and families. These relationships help us better connect people with the resources and support they need when they need it.
