Full circle moment. Many, many years ago my friend TJ & his wife Katie took professional photos of me when I was still recording music. (I’ll post one of those photos at the end of this carousel.)

Fast forward, they reached out to me for a photography session because Tj’s parents were celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary. It’s such a cool feeling because I really admired their work, I knew nothing about photography back then and never thought about it as a career path.

I haven’t seen them in over 15 years since they moved up to PA. What a great experience meeting their family and being the one to take their pictures this go round.

Me: You got it!

10 years ago I sat on Sanibel island with an entry level camera in my hand scrolling through YouTube tutorials about how to set correct exposure settings for the very first wedding I was about to shoot. I wasn’t sure where Decius Films would go from there but I had high hopes.

Fast forward to today and I’ve met a lot of great friends along the way. If you’ve ever worked with me or promoted me, thank you. I get to spend more time with my wife and kids, my life and business is a blessing. Cheers to 10 years 🎉
