What is s*x trafficking?

S*x trafficking is the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, obtaining, patronizing, or soliciting of a person to obtain a commercial s*x act.
Through force, fraud, or coercion human beings are used and abused over and over again.

At Eden House we will offer precious survivors safety and care, and walk alongside them as they heal, grow, and begin a whole new way of life.

Thanks to the Caring Circle of the Highland Woods Country Club! These lovely women highlighted Eden House at their recent meeting and gave generously towards our first year’s operating budget. It’s wonderful to see women joining together to care for women who have suffered s*xual exploitation. Thanks so much, ladies!

We are so grateful to the Eight Days of Hope team! They have been building and restoring homes after disasters for 20 years and have built over 20 safe homes around the country.

Eight Days of Hope will be sending a team of skilled volunteers this spring to do renovations on Eden House- for free! It’s amazing! Eden House will get a makeover and be specially prepared to provide hope and healing to women who have suffered s*xual exploitation.

Today is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day. Awareness is knowing that trafficking is a heartbreaking reality. Human trafficking is happening in plain sight and behind closed doors in every community, on every social media platform, and in most hotels.
