Other reasons include: The church has the largest participation; the widest distribution; the longest continuation; the fastest expansion; the highest motivation; the strongest authorization; the simplest administration; and the greatest conclusion (read the last chapter of the Bible). Many of us want to change the outward appearance of ourselves, but that's a temporary fix. To be really satisfied, you need to change the inner you. That's where God comes in. The Holy Spirit can change the inner you and the secret is found in Galatians 5:22. God’s picture of who you can be can’t be purchased. It’s free. When you allow God’s Spirit into your life, you get God’s version of extreme makeover. But you can't do it alone, you need the Holy Spirit inside of you.

American just celebrated 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Happy Birthday America! But America is more that words on paper. We are a nation blessed by God. Psalms 33:12 says, "Blessed in the Nation whose God is the Lord." Pastor Gene has a great message for our birthday.

For 250 years the United States has stood for freedom. As we celebrate today, the birth of our nation, let's look back at what happened to the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence. Freedom is not free. God Bless the USA!
