Dancing humor aside (because pew pew safety is anything but humorous):

Over the years, I’ve learned that practice isn’t just about hitting targets at the range. The right kind of practice builds confidence in yourself as a responsible gun owner.

When I first started carrying, I carried off-body for the longest time because I wasn’t confident enough to have my firearm on my body.

Then, once I was comfortable carrying on-body, I wasn’t confident enough to carry with a round chambered.

(For this reel: empty chamber + empty magazine.)

With the right training, education, and a LOT of practice, that changed.

I learned how my firearm actually works, stopped worrying that my pew pew was randomly going to take off my p*e p*e 😂, and tried multiple holsters until I found what worked for me.

Now I’m comfortable carrying in different configurations depending on the situation: appendix, hip, thigh, chest, ankle, low back, on-body, off-body, etc. (See the previous reels 👀)

The takeaway: When it comes to firearm safety and responsible carry, practice doesn’t make perfect.

Perfect practice makes perfect.

Confidence doesn’t come from simply owning a firearm. It comes from consistency, education, training, and knowing your equipment.

Train. Learn. Practice. Repeat. 🔒
