You know a dog has been in rescue too long when they get nick names!
Perni came to us a bit ago due to a divorce along with his brother Duke. Perni went to a foster to adopt but sadly was having potty issues so they decided not to adopt him. So he came here to work on potty issues and we are 2 weeks no accidents! He’s doing great and is a fun goofy true to the breed silly boy.
Perni answers to Per per, Perni, pernelious, and then today pernelious p pumpernickel! Why? I have no idea. Because he’s funny!

Perni is almost 2 (Dec) and is doing good with house training but expect some accidents with a new home. He is great in the creat and hasn’t met a stranger (two or four legged). He’ knows come, sit and leave it. He rides in the car like a champ. He’s learning to walk in a leash.
He’s about 60lbs but could put some more pounds of him.

Perni is an active boy who has been with children, cats and dogs.

Duke is available too! 6 yrs old and purebred chocolate lab. He’s good with other dogs and cats once he is comfortable. He still has a lot of energy and is house and crate trained. He’s definitely needing to work on walking nicely on a leash. He’s a good boy who deserves a great home! He is playful and loves his toys.

Both boys are fully vetted and on flea/tick and hw prevention.

If you want to add one of these goofballs to your home. You can find our application here

Sweet Jane is ready to go to her forever home (foster to adopt).
She is working hard on house training and has learned to play and is a happy girl. She had a rough start but that hasn’t slowed her down now!

We need to find Jane a forever home soon as her foster is not able to keep her much longer and we’d love to get her settled! Jane’s adoption fee covers all of her vetting including 3 rounds of puppy vaccinations, rabies, microchip, spay, deworming and tattoo. She is current on heartworm and flea prevention.

We aren’t real sure what breed Jane is but she’s about 5 months old and growing like a w**d!

Our application can be found here

I had his rabies done and a one year heart worm and a year supply of flea and tick.
…..

The person who found him roaming has done as much as she could ($1300+ to get him healthy)

You may have noticed a few new faces in the last video! This week we were contacted about a group of 15 that needed help when the owner passed! Working with a few other rescues all 15 landed safe!
FurreverHomes Rescue took SEVEN! We took 5 and The Rescued Rescuers: Dachshunds and Friends of the Emerald Coast were able to take two!
We’ve been working on getting vaccines and grooming on our five.

We introduce you to Ernie and Nernie who were groomed by the amazing Tubby Tyme Dog Salon & Boarding!
And sweet Eiden who was treated like royalty at Noah's Barks and Purrs. And then Kolter who got a bath by me ☺️

Ernie is a male black Toy poodle who is just the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet. Under 10 lbs and will be vetted next Friday. Ernie is about 3 yrs old.

Nernie is a male Yorkie who is also under 10lbs. He’s a spunky and happy boy! He too will be vetted next Friday. Nernie is approximately 3 yrs old.

Then there is sweet Eiden who is ultra scared of what’s going on but is so sweet. Eiden is a male dapple long hair dachshund. About 10 lbs. he did have a lot of matting so his hair will grow back in no time to show off that beautiful coat! He is pending adoption at this time.

Kolter is a male Pembroke welsh corgi ( no tail) and is so very shy but is again I can’t say this enough so sweet! He gets neutered Tuesday. Kolter seems a bit mature and is probably closer to 5.

And Sally is a beauty of a girl Mini American shepherd (mini Aussie) who has started coming out of her shell! She will be spayed Thursday. Sally is younger and closer to 18-24 months.

If you’re interested in adding one of these babies or any of our other pups you can find the application here.

Adoption fees don’t always cover all of our vetting needs so we are definitely in need of financial help. We have to pay the vet and it a dog sits in rescue a while then that bill still has to get paid even if we don’t have the adoption fee yet.
