Since 1980, the PMC has raised $1.125 billion for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
The Pan-Mass Challenge raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through an annual bike-a-thon that crosses the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Since its founding in 1980, the PMC has successfully melded support from committed cyclists, volunteers, corporate sponsors and individual contributors. All are essential to the PMC's goal and model: to attain maximum fundraising efficiency while increasing its annual gift. Our hope and aspiration is to provide Dana-Farber's doctors and researchers with the necessary resources to discover cures for all cancers.

Congratulations to Doctor Allison O'Neill on being named in OncoDaily's 100 Influential Women in Oncology!
Allison O’Neill, MD is Clinical Director of the Solid Tumor Center and Director of Medical Therapies at the Liver Tumor Center at Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center.
In addition, Allison is an 11-year PMC rider, and team captain of Team Perspective!

The Pan-Mass Challenge has announced the appointment of Dr. Matthew McGuiness, MD, age 45, a cardiologist and 34-year PMC volunteer, as the organization’s Executive Director.
“When I think about what makes the PMC what it is, it's not just what we do — it's who we are. Matt has that in his bones,” said PMC Founder and Chairman Billy Starr.
“This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The PMC has been part of my life since I was 12 years old, and I am honored to help lead this incredible organization into its next era,” said Dr. McGuiness.
McGuiness will lead PMC’s operations and strategic direction, overseeing the organization’s continued growth as the single largest contributor to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
