Ellie Fund is a Massachusetts-based organization that provides essential support services for breast cancer patients to ease the stresses of everyday life, allowing the focus to be on family, recovery, and healing. Its services include grocery gift cards, nutritious prepared/delivered meals, transportation to medical appointments, childcare reimbursement, housekeeping, and integrative therapy services, free of charge. Any patient with breast cancer receiving treatment in Massachusetts is eligible for Ellie Fund services.
first learned about Ellie Fund when she was caring for her mom, who had breast cancer. Then she became a patient herself. After completing her own breast cancer treatment, Nekia became an Ellie Fund volunteer. Now, she is a powerful voice for the organization as our Director of Community Outreach & Advocacy.
