More memories with Willie Nile! These shots were taken at his November, 2019 performance at JCC of Central NJ in Scotch Plains - our last show before the pandemic, and actually our last show before we moved to the shore and partnered with our friends at Jersey Shore Arts Center.
By now, it’s no secret that we’ll be welcoming Willie back to our series and into JSAC’s Palaia Theater on Saturday, October 31st. Willie will perform a special solo Storyteller show, sharing tales about his songs and the journey that’s led to what can only be described as a storied career.

It's October! You know what that means - we are just four weeks out from our season opener at Jersey Shore Arts Center! On Saturday, October 31st, the great Willie Nile will take the stage at JSAC's Palaia Theater for a special solo Storyteller show. Willie will sing songs from across his career in music and regale us with stories about the songs and his journey along the way. Robinson Treacher will open the show.

Digging through some old files and came across these great shots of Willie Nile taken by my pal Donna Passero at a show at Hamilton Stage at Union County Performing Arts Center way back in December 2014. One of many great nights with Willie.
Of course, we are expecting another great night when Willie performs a special solo Storyteller show on October 31st at Jersey Shore Arts Center in Ocean Grove. Think of it as an intimate house concert, only in a bigger room.

Net ticket proceeds from all of the Split Level Concerts support the programming and arts education offered by the Jersey Shore Arts Center, a non-profit organization serving Ocean Grove and its surrounding areas. In addition to live music, JSAC offers a wide variety of programming, including visual arts, wellness, dance, theater, and comedy.

Jersey Shore Arts Center and Split Level Concerts are proud to partner with Brookdale Public Radio, 90.5 The NIGHT and Musicians On A Mission (MOAM) to promote the concert series. Musicians On A Mission is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating connection and inspiring giving through music. MOAM will be on hand for all shows in the series, collecting non-perishable food, personal care items, and cash donations to benefit Fulfill (formerly the Food Bank of Monmouth & Ocean County). Concertgoers that visit the MOAM table in the lobby before the show, or during intermission, can learn more about Fulfill’s mission and enter a drawing to win items donated by the artists, 90.5 The Night, and local businesses.

Season Three of Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center will kick off on Halloween night with the great Willie Nile performing a special solo Storyteller show, giving us insight into the origins of his songs and the adventures that inspired them.
It’s no exaggeration to say that without Willie Nile, there would be no Split Level Concerts. For my 40th birthday, we invited Willie to perform in our living room. (Check out the pics to see how young we were.) We had such a blast that we decided to keep going. Here we are, 26 years later, presenting Willie again in our latest iteration - the Jersey Shore Art Center’s Palaia Theater.
