To our neighbors and community partners registered for Community Connections Day: Unfortunately, today’s event has been cancelled. While we were hopeful we’d be able to gather together, Jenkinson’s has made the difficult but necessary decision to close due to anticipated high winds and unsafe weather conditions.

We know many families and organizations were looking forward to spending the day together, and we share in your disappointment. At this time, there is no additional rain date scheduled.

Thank you to everyone who registered and to the community partners who planned to join us and share valuable resources. We appreciate your understanding and support, and we’re hopeful that next year will bring us better weather and the opportunity to reconnect for a fun-filled day at the boardwalk. 💙

As Hunger Action Month comes to a close, we’re ending the month with some big news, and a whole lot of gratitude. 💙

We’re incredibly grateful to the FirstEnergy Foundation for a $250,000 grant supporting Fulfill’s work to fight hunger and connect our neighbors with resources that help families thrive.

This investment will strengthen hunger-relief programs across Monmouth and Ocean counties, while helping us connect families with resources that support long-term stability and self-sufficiency.

Fulfill is just one piece of this grant. As part of its largest hunger-relief investment to date, the FirstEnergy Foundation is providing $1.3 million to 25 New Jersey hunger-relief organizations this month, helping provide nearly 4 million meals.

Hunger Action Month may be coming to an end, but the work continues every day. Thank you, FirstEnergy Foundation, for putting action behind the mission and investing in our neighbors. We’re so grateful to have you alongside us in this work!
