Sarah Rokohl Art

Here’s a variety of pet portraits I’ve done over the years! I do mostly watercolor for these portraits but can also do acrylic, oil, graphite pencil, pen and ink, and even a digital drawing. With Christmas right around the corner I have some availability to create commissions that make perfect gifts. Message me to ask about pricing ☺️ I can also ship!

My latest watercolor for my house turned gallery! This is an 18x18in painting of a beloved hibiscus plant that didn’t survive one of the last hard freezes here. I’m so happy I had a good picture to reference for the painting ☺️🌺

Peanut, 16x20 watercolor

I had such a fun time drawing and painting this portrait of Peanut! This was for a special birthday girl who is away at college, and now she gets to see Peanut everyday in her beach themed dorm room.

Jonah, 9x12in
Graphite on paper

I drew the newest addition to our family! We love you Jonah 🩵

I think I’m done?? This is a 16x20 watercolor of a picture I took when Jonah was only 6 days old. I knew it would be a while before I would have the time and energy to paint it… I snapped the photo knowing it was special. Now that Jonah is 8 months old I find more time for painting like I used to. And I loved working on this at our table while Noah (my 3 year old) worked on his own watercolors and listened to songs from Lilo and Stitch. God has grown me and sustained me through the ups and downs of this season and I’m so thankful!

Been awhile since I’ve done a pet portrait… and it warms my soul! My client wanted a minimalistic, gestural drawing in a digital format. I hand drew this using my iPad and Procreate ☺️

Watercolor paintings for an underwater themed nursery 🌊🐳🐠

Source material: the whale sharks were from a painting seen on Etsy; I’m going to try to find the artist to give credit! The sea turtles are from a photo I took at our local zoo

I haven’t posted in a while now that I am a mom to 2 amazing boys! But I am happy to share that I currently have 3 paintings on display at The Atrium. Visitors are welcome to look at all the local art 🙂
