Enjoy this video recap of our amazing National Assisted Living Week with our theme “Shining Through the Years - New York City Style.” We started with our Coney Island Carnival that was so much fun and brought many family members into our community. We followed with Broadway Day, Honoring Harlem, Uptown Day, Little Italy Day, Nosh of NY marketing event, 70s day with Glow Mingo and a studio 54 party, and ending with our mini Walk to End Alzheimer’s. So many special moments of the week aren’t captured here but this recap gives you an idea of what a great week it was!

It’s hard to believe National Assisted Living Week is over! On our final day we held a fundraiser - a mini Walk to End Alzheimer’s. We had donated raffle items and collected $251 that went directly to our team for the county wide walk on October 4th. Thank you to Fox Rehab, Royal Homecare, and Dana for donating! Thank you as well to all the residents and team members who participated!
After the fundraiser we gave out awards for the week and ended the day with a lively Happy Hour with entertainment by Michael Zuko. What a great week!

They came to play bingo… but they stayed to DANCE! 🪩🎶 Our residents really shined at Musical Glow Bingo as we danced and sang our way through the decades! From oldies to disco, there was no shortage of music, memories, and glowing good times! 💃🕺

What a wonderful week we have been having celebrating National Assisted Living Week - NYC style! Today was Little Italy day - Ed had a visit from his great granddaughter who looked adorable in her “Everybody Loves an Italian Girl” shirt! Ed looked great in his shirt too! Also shown are some photos from our program about the Metropolitan Museum of Art with Marisa and “Landmarks of New York” with Amy.
