Two RTU’s shut down at the same time. Coincidence or one shared safety issue? Both of these units are for several hair and nail salons, wellness and self care offices, as well as a couple of barbershops. Now I don’t really care about the men running the shops but there was no way in hell I was gonna walk the space last night knowin there were a bunch of pi**ed off Dominican women ready to cut a brother. 🙂. Thankfully today, I got them going until the building brings back their fire guys to correct the issue. And yes, I walked the space after I got them going knowing I was safe. Even tho one of them tried to kill me by turning the breaker off and on as I was troubleshooting.

Blower assembly replacement. This one was a bit tricky workin about 18’ up on a ladder and over a rack of expensive ass clothing. Either way, the job got done and clients are happy.

Thank God for another day! Memorial Day holiday 2nd call. While working on the first one a neighbor came by to complain about her AC leaking. First of 2 service calls on this Memorial Day holiday. No cool complaint on an old R22 unit up in Mahopac, NY. Upon checking pressures, I saw the unit was completely flat. Previous company didn’t even want to touch it after reporting the same. Customer approved a leak test and when I put 300lbs of nitrogen in the system, I performed a tightness test for 30 mins. Lost about 3lbs. Checked the indoor unit and found the leak on the coil. I doubt I’ll find a replacement coil for a 25 year old system. Unfortunately for the customer, it’s lookin like a full replacement. At least it’ll boost the value of their property a bit. **we do not own the rights to this song.
