Fred Ciporen, former publisher of π˜“π˜ͺ𝘣𝘳𝘒𝘳𝘺 π˜‘π˜°π˜Άπ˜³π˜―π˜’π˜­, 𝘚𝘀𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 π˜“π˜ͺ𝘣𝘳𝘒𝘳𝘺 π˜‘π˜°π˜Άπ˜³π˜―π˜’π˜­, and π˜—π˜Άπ˜£π˜­π˜ͺ𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘞𝘦𝘦𝘬𝘭𝘺, died on September 4 at age 87. He is remembered by colleagues for his insight and generosity: working to highlight the importance of libraries as consumers in the publishing ecosystem with the three magazines as valued conduits.
