The staff at Autism Delaware helped The Charcoal Pit celebrate their 70th Anniversary recently. As a part of the day, we were honored with a $5,000 donation from restaurant and their patrons. We are incredibly touched and grateful for their support of our programs and of autism inclusion in the community. Here's to the next 70!

Grandparents deserve connection, information, and support of their own, and Autism Delaware's Grandparent Coffee Hours events have been planned for exactly that reason.

These gatherings are for grandparents who aren't the primary caregiver of their grandchild with autism, and they're intentionally informal rather than a formal support group. They run from 9 to 10 a.m. at our Lewes office, and the next dates are this Wednesday, September 23rd and Wednesday, October 28th. And coming soon - a coffee hour in New Castle County! Stay tuned for more.

Beverages are on us, no RSVP is needed, and you're welcome to bring whatever is on your mind, whether that's communication, routines, community resources, or how to support your grandchild's parents without stepping into their decisions.

A HUGE thank you to our friends at the , Fire, Rod and Gun Club for raising more than $9,000 total at their 15th annual Ride 2 Know motorcycle run. Special thanks to Tammy Massetti for outdoing herself once again! We can't wait to be back next summer.
