Newburgh Devil Rays

Just might have to pick up a shirt or two ourselves

In response to all these rain outs, the aquatic and are in agreement to patent their secrets to underwater living, and develop it for the other land loving teams.

Wait a week to redeem ourselves against the , RAIN OUT! It just wasn't meant to be this week.

AND with 6 of the next 7 days showing more rain, our game against the next weekend ain't lookin so good either.

Good news: Baseball is back!
More good news: Our uniforms are sharp af 🔥
Bad news: We dropped the opener (in spectacular fashion)

and led us offensively. Kane recorded a couple of knocks while Soto drove in 3 runs. James Doyle and SP also contributed hits. Everyone knows the best teams are those born out of adversity. Sunday gave us 21 runs and 7 errors worth of adversity. We’ll get back on the field, break in those gloves and work on those throws. And let’s be honest, the cold wasn’t doing us any favors. Hats off to the for humbling us, we’ll see you boys in August.

Next game: Sunday, 4/3 vs. the @ Robinson Lane, 12:30

Next up from our OG crew is a one of the Rays before there were any Rays. The flying squirrel-pirate himself .diamond.tech Tommy Maldarelli is at the center of the heart and soul of the dugout and what it means to be a Newburgh Devil Ray.

Tommy will be scaling his time back a bit to 'be an adult' like a normal person but you can still expect to see him putting his face on the line at the hot corner and being a deceptively good batter this season.

Our next introduction goes out to out first ever draft pick the man, the myth, the legend, the most notorious closer in all of the HVNABA,

When he isn't out there slaying baseballs, dropping a sneaky bunt, or making look good at first he's doing what he does best and protecting the rest of us as an officer of the law!
