My son turns 16 this weekend, and he convinced us to take Grandma's truck to a local car show. He had an absolute blast showing it off.
As it turns out, we had the best-looking Ford pickup there. We were also the only Ford pickup. The other 17 or 18 trucks were Chevys!
Even though she's a little young for a classic car show, we took Grandma's truck out and let her shine. More importantly, it was a reminder that if we keep doing our best as parents, our children eventually grow into their own people.
Happy 16th Birthday, Son. I'm proud of the young man you're becoming. ❤️
