Virginia Opera

Where Voice Rules! The Official Opera Company of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Etix is the only authorized third-party. But old thinking holds no sway here.
Virginia Opera exists to bring compelling and artistically exemplary opera performances to a wide variety of audiences. We strive to nurture this complex art form, the artists who create it, and the audiences who will ensure its future. We may be an opera company
based in the Old Dominion. Here, only one thing matters:
The power of the human voice. To move us. Challenge us. Delight us. And connect us. Whatever we do,
We do to share that power
With as many people
In as many beautiful,
Soul–stirring ways as possible. This is Virginia Opera. Where Voice Rules.
