Happy Chickens make healthy eggs!

Meet Moriah, the 757 egg lady! If you’re in Virginia beach or Norfolk and buying local eggs, there’s a chance you’ve cracked open a few from E & V.

And we can confirm– these chickens are elated 🐣

And a happy chicken makes a difference⬇️

Did you know Happy Hens with space to forage freely with low stress produce eggs with firmer whites and, often, deeper orange yolks?

Thats true

That means higher quality and more nutrient dense eggs.

For all our hard-number guys– heres the difference in nutrients according to a study 2007

ℹ️
• More Omega-3 fatty acids.
• More Vitamin E.
• More Beta-carotene (which gives yolks a deep orange color).
• More Vitamin D.
• Less cholesterol and less saturated fat.
• More folic acid.
