Good mourning Monster High!! We've got some fangtastic new additions here at the Item Shop! A couple Gen 1 Monster High dolls and some play sets have just landed, plus more! Start your new scaremester off with a scream and take home a new ghoulfriend today!

Our Smash Player Chris, AKA PooPoo2079 recently participated in 2 tournaments. He ended up placing 5th in West Chicago, and followed it up with a 7th place finish in Geneva. He's very proud of these finishes, including a run that got him into the top 8 at the Geneva competition. Great job Chris, and keep it up!!!

The Item Shop would like to let everyone know of a few new policies that go into effect starting July 21st. These will affect our customers in store, but are NOT intended to prevent you from a great shopping experience.

We are NO LONGER going to be taking or performing any trade-ins 30 minutes prior to our closing. We need to be able to clean the store and get home in a timely manner at the end of the day. If you are cutting it close to the end of the night, know that we may stop the trade at ANY point within the final 30 minutes of the day and ask that you bring the items we are interested in back another day.

We are NO LONGER allowing overnight drop-offs. You can drop off earlier in the day and stop back later the SAME day. We don't want to be responsible for your items that we do not own. If you have too many items, bring them in smaller batches over several days. If you have specific items for a specialist, we may ask that you bring them BACK on the days/times we ask you to.

If you pick out something that is either behind glass or up high, if you decide that you would like the item(s), WE will take it/them up to the register.

At the card bar, if you are 15 or under, you MUST have an adult present with you if you're shopping the binders.

We are NO LONGER allowing pets (aside from service animals) into our store.

We will be asking that customers leave their backpacks or large bags behind the front counter. The exception would be if you are trading in, and your items are in the backpack or bag. If you have an issue with this, please leave your backpack or bag in your vehicle or at home.

We are setting all of these new policies to protect both the customers and employees and both your and our items/product in store.

We hope that you can understand these new policies, and we ask that you please do your best to follow them. We want our customers happy and safe, as well as the employees.

We know that the Pokémon binders were starting to look a little shabby. Plenty of new cards came in and are now ready to be shopped. The binders are looking a little healthier now, but we can always use more. From modern to vintage, foreign and domestic, trainers and shiny Pokémon, Vs, EXs, GXs, VMaxes, VStars, Breaks, there is a nice new selection to choose from. Not pictured are the non-TCGs that will hopefully be ready for Wednesday, as we got more of those as well. Also not pictured are the new cards that are in the case. We've been somewhat restocked, so come grab some new favorites before they're gone!

The Item Shop would like everyone to know that we will be CLOSED Saturday, July 4th to celebrate the holiday! So stop in today to grab a game or movie or comic book to hold you over until the fireworks or BBQ start. We will be open our normal hours today (10-8) and Sunday (10-5).
