I made this in a new cermics class that I'm taking at the MCAC, and I feel like I have to post pictures now because it's probably going to break in the kiln. π© Fingers crossed she makes it through the firing!! π€π€This is the most detailed and delicate piece I've ever made!

My green nativity scene.
I wanted this to be an antique matte white color, but someone's green glaze dripped onto a few pieces from the set during the kiln firing. π‘ I attempted to reglaze them a grey color, but nope, they still came out of the kiln with a green tint. Then I tried a metallic glaze - they came out a MUCH darker green. π€·ββοΈ So, green they stayed, and I guess they don't look too bad. I might try making a new set for next Christmas.
Merry Christmas, everyone!π

If you find something you like, let me know. With a small donation, any of the available items can be yours! :) Thanks for your support, and happy holidays!

These are past pieces that have already found a home. They are no longer available, but I am happy to make a similar piece if you find one you like. Please message me with any questions or requests.

Today is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, so it seems fitting to share this piece. It is called "Empty." The loss of a pregnancy/baby can leave you feeling very empty, both physically and emotionally. Empty and alone.
If you've experienced pregnancy or infant loss, please know that you are not alone. I encourage you to reach out to the SHARE Program. This program showed us we were not alone and helped us walk through the deep grief of pregnancy loss. You can find your local SHARE Program here: https://nationalshare.org/find-support-in-your-state/
Sending love to all the babies gone too soon and their families that miss them. β€οΈ
