The Student Accounts office has a great set of check lists that may help you to know what tools and processes we have to offer our students and their Authorized Users.
• New students – do the “New Student Checklist” so you can learn how to set up an Authorized User, make sure all items are complete for your Financial Aid, how to read your account, and so much more.
• Returning students – do the “Returning Student Checklist” to make sure all “Holds and To Do List” items are complete, update your account information, and make sure all other items are current.

𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 – 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟯𝟭 – 𝗔𝘂𝗴 𝟬𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Due to a system update and maintenance, the Financial Portal will be unavailable from Friday, July 31, 7:00 am - August 01, 1:00 pm.
Students, Authorized Users, faculty, and staff will be unable to do the following:

• Make payments
• Payment plan selection
• Viewing charges/Balance Inquiries
• eRefund sign up

** Student charges, as well as payment plan options, will be viewable once this process is restored.

𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀 - 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗧𝗶𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸:
𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝘂𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀

Each semester, students have the option of paying in full or utilizing a payment plan.

Payments may be made online, through the mail, or in-person at the Student Accounts Office.

Check out the payment due dates and when statement reminders will be emailed to students by visiting:

Authorized Users have access to the On-Demand statements and will be emailed a statement reminder 1-2 weeks prior to the monthly due date.

𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗥𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 (𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁)!

Students – eRefund (direct deposit) and paper checks by mail – only ways to receive your refund!
• eRefund is the fastest and most secure way to receive your refunds.
• Only way to receive a paper refund check is to have it mailed to you!
• If there is an over-payment on your account, we can direct deposit those funds into your bank!
• See a hold on your account about eRefund? This means that you have not set up an eRefund account. Only way to remove this hold is set up an eRefund account. This hold does not affect your ability to register for the next semester’s classes.
Authorized Users -
• If you are getting a refund based on your Parent Plus loan, you can also set up an eRefund account.

- You can set up a parent or sponsor so they have access to the financial part of your student account – including the ability to make payments!
- Your parent or sponsor would have the ability to communicate with us on your behalf! Can you say “Team Work”?
- You can have as many Authorized Users as you need!
- It’s quick and easy to set them up as an Authorized User. Visit the online How-To Guides at studentaccounts.illinoisstate.edu and look for the “Set up an Authorized User” link. Click, click and done!!
