Happy DOGust! What better way to celebrate the birthday month for all shelter and rescue dogs than by giving two incredible seniors the birthday wish they deserve...a family of their very own.

This we're crushing hard on Oscar and Felix, two 10-year-old Labrador Retrievers who prove that age is just a number. These handsome gentlemen have spent a lifetime perfecting the art of being loyal companions. They don't need marathon hikes or endless games of fetch. They're happiest with leisurely walks, cozy beds, tasty treats, and, most importantly, someone to love.

Felix is the quiet, gentle soul of the pair. He's calm, affectionate, and happiest simply being part of the family. Oscar is all smiles, especially when treats are involved, and his easy-going personality makes him impossible not to adore. Oscar is currently receiving treatment for heartworm disease, and Wish Bone Canine Rescue will continue covering his treatment, so his future family can focus on making happy memories together.

While each boy is available for adoption individually, they arrived together as lifelong companions. If you've ever considered opening your heart to a bonded pair, these two would love nothing more than to spend their golden years side by side. Their combined adoption fee is just $300.

This DOGust, their birthday wish isn't for toys or cake. It's for a couch to share, a soft bed to snooze on, and a family to call their own.
