One of the great things about Bloom is our involvement in our community! Bloomington-Normal has so much to offer and we enjoy trips with our students to explore the fun places throughout our community. Here are some of our favorite outdoor spaces we have visited- Merwin Nature Preserve, Ewing Park, Uptown Circle Fountain, ISU Horticulture Center, and Sugar Grove Nature Center.

Our Unprocessed Summer Challenge will look a little different this week. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the wildfires.

WEEK FIVE of Bloom's Unprocessed Summer Challenge is underway! Our challenge this week is to complete a nature scavenger hunt! This is a great way to practice mindfulness during your outdoor time. Use this one or create your own!

Bloom Summer Camp has been putting the nature in nature based learning! One of their many projects so far this summer was learning about the engineering of birds' nests and making their own! We are in our FOURTH week of our Unprocessed Summer Challenge, where we ask you to join us in committing to (at least) 20 minutes of device free, outdoor time. So get outside, grab some chalk, and start doodling! When you're finished, snap a pic, and post it here! We can't wait to see your chalk creations!
