🏅Milner Library needs an upgrade🏅
Help us revamp Milner Library’s new Speaker’s Corner!
Milner Library strives to be an active partner in the teaching, learning, and research activities of Illinois State University.
As part of our goal to support campuswide scholarly and creative activity, Milner Library is revamping its Speaker’s Corner—a dynamic space where faculty, students, visiting authors, and local voices can share their work with the Illinois State University community. The space is free to use, requires no reservation or conference booking fee, and is available on a first-come, first-served basis, which means that all those who are interested in using the space have the same access. In the past, the Speaker’s Corner has hosted faculty authors, departmental workshops, library professional development sessions, student poetry readings, finals week stress relief crafting sessions, and more.
Milner Library needs your support to make the Speaker’s Corner a more functional space for its users.
Your donation will help us:
1) Upgrade audio/visual equipment for crystal-clear presentations
2) Add flexible seating for lively discussions and workshops
3) Create a welcoming, inclusive environment for all campus voices
