Wednesday in NYC: we spent our day in Downtown / Lower Manhattan, starting with a performance at the One World Observatory at the top of the Freedom Tower! It was pretty surreal to sing the lyrics “history is happening in Manhattan and we just happen to be in the greatest city in the world” with that city below us! After lunch at Hudson Eats, we visited the 9-11 Memorial Museum, wandered around Chinatown and Little Italy, and ate a delicious Chinese family-style dinner at House of Joy. We ended our evening at spectacular performances of Lion King and Hadestown!! We are leaving NYC with lots of memories!

We should be performing in the thr next 45 minutes - stay tuned! Just arriving at the building.

Tuesday in NYC: tours of Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, lunch in Central Park, & the Metropolitan Museum of Art. After a delicious dinner at Carmine’s, we went to spectacular productions of Aladdin and Ragtime!!

We started out our Monday in NYC with a FANTASTIC Q&A session with Daniel Quadrino (currently playing Boq in Wicked) and Dan Micciche, veteran Broadway performer and current Associate Music Director for Wicked! The choir students then put on a beautiful concert at The Cathedral of St. John the Divine (you can see it on our page!). After some free time in Times Square and Rockefeller Center, we boarded a dinner dance cruise around the harbor and had a blast!

After a day and a half of travel and a ton of traffic getting into the city, we finally made it to New York City! We raced to our shows - Wicked and Great Gatsby - and they were both amazing! Then we hung out in Times Square before our dinner at Gayle’s Broadway Rose and their phenomenal singing waitstaff! What a great day 1 in the city with our large group of 156 people!

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 graduates! Go do great things, and please keep music and singing in your life! Happy graduation day - we will miss you!! ❤️🎓🎉
