It’s National CERT Week!

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible CERT volunteers and programs across the country who give their time, energy, and skills to help make their communities safer and more prepared.

This year is extra special as CERT celebrates 40 years of neighbors helping neighbors. The 2026 theme, “Carrying the Torch 40 Years & Beyond,” recognizes four decades of service while looking ahead to the future of community preparedness.

At ProPac, we’re proud to have worked alongside CERT programs for decades, helping teams get the supplies, training gear, and equipment they need to be ready when their communities need them most.

To all of the CERT volunteers, coordinators, trainers, and programs out there: thank you for everything you do. We’re proud to support you and proud to be part of the CERT community.

Today, we remember.

We remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families forever changed, and the incredible bravery of the first responders who ran toward danger without hesitation.

To the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, dispatchers, volunteers, and countless others who answered the call that day, your courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

At ProPac, we are proud to work alongside first responders and emergency management professionals every day. It is an honor to support the men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving their communities.

Today and always, we honor those we lost and those who served.

Never forget.

The ProPac team recently had the pleasure of hosting several local government agencies for a hands-on training and live demonstration of our Rapid Deployment Inflatable Shelter Systems.

There’s nothing better than seeing these systems in action. Attendees had the opportunity to watch the shelters deploy, ask questions, and get hands-on experience with equipment designed to support emergency response, disaster recovery, and incident operations when time matters most.

Beyond the equipment, one of the best parts of the day was spending time with the emergency management professionals and first responders who serve our communities every day. We truly appreciate everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to join us.

To top it all off, we treated everyone to a skirt steak street taco lunch, giving us the chance to continue great conversations and build even stronger partnerships.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended. We look forward to continuing to support your mission and hosting more training opportunities in the future!

Today we celebrated Vanessa as she reached her 20th year work anniversary with ProPac. It is rare to work with someone who brings as much talent, humor, and heart to the office as you do every single day. Thank you for 20 years of brilliant, dedicated work and great workplace memories.
