Rick applied in June 2016 for a summer position in our asphalt lab. Ten years later, heβs become one of our best state-certified lab technicians and an important part of the Pelling team. Rick is usually all business (good luck trying to get his photo!), but we managed to snag this picture at our holiday party. Congratulations on 10 years, Rick!

In case you didn't know, the I-380 southbound ramp in North Liberty (exit 4) is closed and is expected to reopen on Monday, September 28th.
From the Iowa Department of Transportation:
Weather permitting, the ramp from Penn St. to I-380 southbound will be closed for up to 2 months, beginning the morning of Wednesday, July 29. The ramp is anticipated to reopen by Monday, September 28. During this closure, construction crews will be working on reconstruction of the ramp.
Traffic will be detoured on Penn St toward Highway 965, and head south to Forevergreen Rd. See the map provided below for additional detour details.
