🎃 BOOK REVIEW: The Witch by Freida McFadden 🎃
I LOVED this one!
The Witch is absolutely perfect for this time of year. It has just the right amount of spooky, with hints of the supernatural without being too scary. A dual timeline, the Salem Witch Trials, long-buried bodies, haunted houses—it has it ALL. 👻🧙♀️
And that ending!! Once again, Freida left me questioning everything and mentally retracing all the little details of the story to figure out what I missed. SO GOOD.
If you’re an audiobook person, do not miss the audio version on Libro.fm! It features two of the BEST narrators, Saskia Maarleveld and Marin Ireland, and they make an already fantastic story even better.
Perfect October reading. 🍂🎃📚

It’s Friday, so you know the question… What are you reading this weekend?
I’m reading Building 903, the newest book from Lois Lowry, one of my all-time favorite writers for young readers. Her books are always so thoughtful and thought-provoking, and I’m excited to see where this one takes me.

September was a much slower reading month for me, but the smaller quantity was full of quality choices!
👑 BEST OF THE MONTH: The Pirate Queen by Ariel Lawhon
Absolutely AMAZING. This one completely swept me away and is easily my favorite read of September. If you haven’t read it yet, put it on your list!
😂 MOST FUN: We Chase Shadows by Richard Osman
I just love these characters so much. Osman never disappoints. My happiest read!
