Lake Effect Comics

🕹️ Can we talk about one of the most underutilized things in our shop?! 👀

This beautiful piece of nostalgia right here! 😍

Our X-Men '97 arcade machine doesn't get nearly enough love, and honestly, that needs to change!

Whether you grew up spending all your quarters at the arcade or you're introducing your kids to the classics, this thing is just waiting for someone to come play!

So next time you're at Lake Effect Comics, don't just browse the comics. Stop by, grab a joystick, and play a few rounds! 🎮

And now I'm curious... Who was your go-to X-Men character back in the day? 👇

🌙🔥 MARVEL'S MIDNIGHT RUN WAS INSANE! 🔥🌙

You guys absolutely blew us away yesterday! We had over 50 Pull List orders, and every single book we had left on the table SOLD OUT IN JUST 4 HOURS! 🤯

We couldn't be happier with the turnout, but we also want to make sure nobody misses out on what's coming next!

Issue #2 is right around the corner, and you have until OCTOBER 12 to preorder your copy!

Don't leave it up to fate. Create your Pull List with Lake Effect Comics today and make sure your copy is reserved.

Because if yesterday taught us anything, it's that fate only gives you about 4 hours. 😂

I never expected Squishies to become one of our hottest sellers.

Someone told me, "You should stock these."

So I did... and it felt like 30 seconds later they were all gone. 😅

Since then, we've been restocking them as fast as we can because you guys keep proving how popular they are.

If you've had your eye on one, stop by Lake Effect Comics and see what we've got in stock before they're gone again! 💙🧸

💥 Did you know we buy collections?

Whether it's comic books, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, or collectibles, bring them in! We'll take a look and, if it's a good fit, make you a fair offer.

Here's Patrick going through a fresh comic collection that just came through the door—and let's just say there were some absolute bangers in the stack. 👀

If you're thinking about selling all or part of your collection, stop by Lake Effect Comics. We'd love to see what you've got! 💙📚🎴

🧸 The Kids Zone keeps getting better!

We're always adding new books, activities, and little touches to make it a fun place for young readers.

If you're browsing the bins or hunting for your next favorite comic, your kids can enjoy a space of their own with:

📚 Kids' books & comics
🎨 Coloring activities
🎮 An arcade system
😊 A fun, family-friendly area to relax

We love seeing families spend time together at Lake Effect Comics, and we're excited to keep growing the Kids Zone right alongside our community. 💙📚

🦸‍♀️ Something special is coming...

We've got plans for Wonder Woman Day, and while the official date is the 21st, we're moving our celebration to Saturday, October 24 so more of you can join in on the fun.

We're putting together something we're excited to share, and we think you're going to love it.

Stay tuned for more details—we'll be announcing everything soon. 💙📚✨

🐾 Well... apparently I've been spelling Chica's name wrong this whole time. 😅

It's Chica with a C, not a K.

I felt like a dad who accidentally misspelled his kid's name on the birth certificate. 😂

Now that we've got that cleared up, Chica is ready to welcome everyone for New Comic Book Day!

Don't forget to pick up your weekly pulls, and if you don't have a Pull List yet, now's the perfect time to sign up through League of Comic Geeks.
