Pinch was founded in 1979 by three female potters and continues to focus on artisan-made goods, and is still locally and female owned.

Meredith Bradley is an artist based in Atlanta, GA, who specializes in small-batch, wheel-thrown, screenprinted ceramics. Inspired by florals, industrial imagery from the city, and fierce animals, each illustration is hand-drawn by Meredith, screened, and used directly on the surface of the porcelain pieces. 🥀

We are back with another installment of our Premiering Potters series in collaboration with Arts Night Out Northampton on Friday, August 14th! 🎉 Please help us welcome Anna Alter to the shop! 🤗
Join us from 5-8 pm at 179 Main Street for the opening reception of Anna’s collection at Pinch! Wine and light snacks will be served, and Anna’s work will be on display + available to purchase in-store through the weekend (August 14-16).
Based in Florence, MA, Anna is a few years into her clay journey after two decades spent as a children’s book author and illustrator. 📚 So, while she is relatively new to clay, she has a long history in narrative art that very much informs her work in clay. 🏺
Anna’s biggest clay passion lies in surface design; she loves to create warm, cheerful designs on pottery forms that feel both modern and from another era. We hope you come check out her work!

It’s about time we show some love to Pascale Jarvis (hey Raskl. 👋🏽) and their incredible block-printed wares! Pascale is a local Western Mass artist who transforms used materials into wearable art — sourcing each piece from secondhand shops around the valley and using hand-carved linoleum blocks to print designs on the upcycled garments. 🤩
Our owner, Jena (Jena Sujat), met Pascale about a year ago at the Sawmill River Arts Gallery at the Montague Bookmill, and immediately fell in love with their Raskl line.
