Added another bee to John's arm - think it came out 🔥-- also finished the mandala on his elbow - which turned out 🔥too! I've been staring at the mandala for hours - something mesmerizing about it 😂😂

YO! So, I have been doing a lot of research on Blacklight inks, especially since they are always requested, and old school tattooists say - OMG they are toxic. So I researched, pigments, binders, etc etc - and well, the conclusion is, they are no more toxic than any other pigment - they do not contain phosphorus which was the holy helllllllnaaahhhh from before. There is no conclusive study that ppl may have an allergic reaction anymore than regular tattoo inks. And, as a studio owner, its only fair I try them on myself first - and we will see how the healing process goes. I have had this rose since I was 18, it was for my mom - a small traditional rose - and as you can see from the picture, it was a blurry mess. Picture two, that's after I reworked it. Not too bad for tattooing myself on my hand 😂😂😂 - noooowwwwwww..... THAT F*CKIN GLOW.... 🔥🔥🔥that's shining a black light on my hand - no filters, no special effects - that is cool AF, you have to admit. HOLY GLOW BATMAN! (corny, I couldn't help myself). 😂

This is Renae's second memorial tattoo - and both were done on the day of their passing. This one, a daisy, was for her grandpa - and the small break in the stem will eventually become a ribbon holding the flower for her grandma.... I PRAY I don't have to do that flower for a VERY long time. Very soft, my signature outline in white, and some nice soft grays - will heal perfectly. Sorry for your loss Renae.... glad I could do this for you.

I think John has been trying my artistic skills 😂 Yeah, let's cover this red graffiti letters and all this other scribbles with a astronaut in outer space, galaxy, stars, planets, cool right - YEAH - until you realize that astronaut's have WHITE suits, and the lettering is raised like it was tattooed with a branding iron. Well, this is all we got done on session one - still a lot to do in the astronaut himself, then we can start the cool background - but - that mess is going to be GONE - GONE - GONE. 🔥🔥🔥

Angela came in with this sketchy and scarred thigh tattoo - she wasn't happy with the flowers, the thingies hanging at the bottom, and the overall dullness - so.... I just laid new flowers over the whole piece 🔥 and used the pink to hide anything that needed hidden, but it sure made it bright 😎 Still have one session left to finish the upper right orchid and redo the faded out border piece.... once that is dark black, going to pop even more....

Been so busy, haven't posted much - so let's try to get a few done today! 😎

This girl sat for a full day of bold outlines! Must admit, she sat like a G - can't wait to go in and shade all these and make it come alive! 3 sunflowers, multiple smaller flowers, and leaves - going to be a beautiful piece when finished!

It's official - what a long and delayed process, but worth it! Cryptic Ink® is now my registered trademark. It's been my vision since the 90's, and the circle is complete. Gonna be some mad tattoo shops (Cease and desist) 👀. Anyhow, something I learned along the twists and turns of life: when you think it can't be done, get out of the way of the person doing it.

When I say I love ya'll - those who support Cryptic Ink®, get tattooed, get pierced, BS with me (when I have time, which I wish I had more of) and Dee, and genuinely know that you all have made my dream possible -- THANK YOU. We still have many milestones to get through, and we will - one by one, piercing by piercing, and tattoo by tattoo!

Working on John's sleeve, we added the realistic black and grey bee 🔥🔥and started the mandala tattoo around his elbow - we only got it a little under half way done, but you can see the effect already! We've been blasting this sleeve! Can't wait to get it all done and take a video of it 🔥
