Stadler Construction

Keeping a construction project moving while the building stays fully operational takes planning, flexibility, and a lot of coordination.

That was the challenge at the Music Theatre of Connecticut.

As MTC expanded into the adjoining space, our team worked around rehearsals, classes, performances, staff, and audiences while keeping the project moving forward.

On some days, that meant getting on site at 6 a.m. and wrapping up before a 10:30 dance class.

It required constant communication between our team and MTC, adjusting the schedule when needed, and making sure the construction never lost sight of how the space needed to function day to day.

In this client story, MTC Executive Director and Co-Founder Kevin Connors shares why they selected Stadler Construction and what it was like working with Mike, Justin, and the team throughout the project.

We appreciate Kevin and the entire MTC team trusting us with their space, and we’re looking forward to continuing the work together.

The Stadler Way. Built on craftsmanship, communication, and trust.

At the 7 Brew jobsite in Norwalk, Reagan asked Mike what advice he would give a young future business owner.

Mike's answer came back to the same values that helped build Stadler Construction from the beginning: have a plan, expect hard days, trust yourself, and keep going.

It didn't happen overnight. It started with a tool belt and a work truck.

Thanks to Reagan and. Keith Daniel for the opportunity and for creating space for young entrepreneurs to ask thoughtful questions.

Most people only see the finished building.

They don’t see everything that has to go right before it gets there.

On this 7 Brew project in Norwalk, Stadler Construction handled everything from start to finish, including sitework, concrete, utilities, modular coordination, and project management.

And the reality is, projects like this come down to one thing: getting the details right the first time.

If elevations are off, drainage isn’t right, or coordination slips, you’re not fixing a small issue. You’re redoing major work.

That’s why every step gets checked, then checked again.

Built right from the ground up.

“If the elevation is off, the whole project is off.”

On-site at the new 7 Brew project in Norwalk, Mike walks through why pitch, elevation, and concrete transitions matter during the slab pour.

On a drive-thru project like this, details like door thresholds and concrete height are critical for safety, flow, and long-term performance.

Built right from the ground up.

Choosing the right contractor matters when the project is this personal and this significant.

For Chelsea and her family, this Norwalk renovation wasn’t just about adding square footage. It was about trusting the team working in their home, knowing what to expect throughout the process, and feeling confident that the project would be done well and done right.

From the first conversation to the finished primary suite, trust, communication, and quality made all the difference.

That’s the kind of experience every major renovation should have.

What used to be attic storage is now a full primary suite retreat.

For this Norwalk family of six, the renovation created more than extra square footage. It gave everyone more room, gave the parents a separate space to unwind, and made the whole house feel a little lighter.

This is what thoughtful renovation can make possible.
