Today, DSP stands together to remember, reflect, and remind one another that asking for help is a sign of strength. During Construction Su***de Prevention Week (September 14-18), we are committed to raising awareness to help break the stigma surrounding mental health and creating an environment where support and communication is encouraged. Every person on our team matters.

At 2:50 pm today, we invite our team and industry partners to join us for the nationwide stand-down and a moment of silence honoring the lives lost to su***de. Together, we can help make our industry safer, not only for the work we do, but for the people who do it. No one has to feel alone.

We remember September 11, 2001, and the lives forever changed that day. Today, we honor those we lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, the heroes who stepped forward, and the families who carried on. You will never be forgotten.

There's a lot of coordination that goes into a successful concrete pour. Especially when you're working on a tight job site in the heart of Detroit. The DSP team collaborated with SmithGroup, Hercules Materials Holdings LLC., and RAM Construction Services to successfully place approximately 200 yards of concrete for a project in downtown Detroit. At DSP, we rely on edgers regularly. A concrete edger is a hand tool used to produce a clean, rounded, or beveled edge along the perimeter of a freshly poured slab.
