Nyack Library
Nyack Library is a free association library located in the village of Nyack in New York State.
Established in 1879, The Nyack Library serves the residents of Nyack, Upper Nyack, South Nyack, Grand View, and Valley Cottage. Our trained staff can assist you in the use of the collection or direct you to other sources of information. If a desired item is not in the Ramapo Catskill Library System, our staff can request it through Interlibrary Loan from another library system. The collection of books, periodicals, and audiovisuals is enhanced with electronic access.

Narcan is now available at the Nyack Library. 💜
We’re glad to share that a Narcan stand is now located just outside the parking lot doors of the Library, providing free access to Narcan for anyone who may need it.
Narcan can help reverse an opioid overdose and is an important resource to have available in our community.
Whether you’re picking up a book, attending a program, or simply passing by, we want our Library to be a place where everyone can find information, resources, and support.

A visit and conversation at Nyack Middle School was both memorable and necessary!
A heartfelt thank you to author Jason Reynolds for sharing his time, words, and inspiration with the school. And an enormous thank you to the impressive students who showed up with thoughtful, insightful questions and made the conversation so meaningful.
We are also grateful to Superintendent Dr. Lizette Ruiz-Giovinazzi, Principal David Johnson, Assistant Principal Dr. Karissa Sullivan, and Library Media Specialist Amanda Birro for welcoming our program and making it possible for all of the students to participate.
What a special opportunity to connect, listen, ask questions, and be inspired! 📚❤️
