Earning a Religious Award Just Got Easier: Join a P.R.A.Y. Virtual Class!

Did you know that Girl Scouts can earn official religious recognitions to wear proudly on the front of their uniforms? If you have been looking for a way to help your girl explore her faith, Programs of Religious Activities With Youth (P.R.A.Y.) is bringing national virtual classes straight to your screen! These interactive virtual sessions are perfect for Girl Scouts who don't have an in-person class nearby but still want to fulfill their promise "to serve God."

Who Can Join? Open to all Protestant, Non-Denominational, and Independent Christian youth in grades K–12. Programs are perfectly tailored by grade level:
Grades K–1: Jesus and Me (Daisy)
Grades 2–3: God and Me (Brownie)
Grades 4–6: God and Family (Junior)
Grades 6–8: God and Church (Cadette)
Grades 9–12: God and Life (Senior/Ambassador)

Where: Live over Zoom from the comfort of home!
Cost: The virtual classes themselves are completely FREE! (Families just need to purchase the corresponding student workbook).
Registration Deadline: Spots fill up very quickly—be sure to secure your ticket by September 30th!

2026 Virtual P.R.A.Y. Emblem Classes Welcome to the registration site for the 2026 Virtual P.R.A.Y. Religious Emblems Program. These are Sunday classes that meet every week.

The Scouting America NRRC will present a Virtual Religious Relationships Week via Zoom on September 29th-October 1st, 2026. Two class sessions each night, at 7pm & 8pm (Central Time Zone). Each time block will offer multiple class options.
This invitation extends to Scouting America Professionals, Volunteers (Scouting America, faith organization, etc.), Clergy & Faith Leaders, and of course Family Members. Classes will NOT be recorded as youth under 18 may be present.

2026 RELIGIOUS EMBLEMS PROMOTION NIGHT, presented by Scouting America's National Religious Relationships Committee (NRRC). Monday, September 28th, 2026 from 7pm-8pm (Central) on Zoom (Note the time zone.)

Join us for an evening to get all of your questions answered about religious emblems. This event is appropriate for unit leaders, youth, faith leaders, and BSA professionals. We will spend the first 10 minutes in a quick overview of what religious emblems are, and how to find more information about them. Then you will go into a Breakout Room for the faith group of your choice. As there are youth present, we will NOT be able to record this program.

Some resources are available there, but you may wish to keep the links provided previously. If you get an error, clear your browser cache by updating the site.

You may have noticed that the NLAS web site nlas.org has been down since most of the team went to the National Scout Jamboree and the Girl Scouts Unite Conference. 2026 VIRTUAL RELIGIOUS EMBLEMS PROGRAM

Salem in Ballwin United Methodist Church is offering a program for all five levels of the P.R.A.Y. Emblems starting in October. Any Protestant Denominations, or non-Denominational, are welcome to take these classes. Registration runs from now to September 30th, 2026.

Jesus & Me: Kindergarten-1st Grade. 3pm-3:50pm (central). October 11th, 18th, 25th, November 1st, 8th.

God & Me: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Grade. 6pm-6:50pm (central). October 11th, 18th, 25th, November 1st, 8th.

God & Family: 4th, 5th, & 6th Grade. 6pm-6:50pm (central). October 11th, 18th, 25th, November 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd.
