🎉 **20 YEARS OF CONNECTION!** 💙
This October marks something pretty special for all of us at The Wellness Connection...
# # # **20 YEARS.**
Twenty years of patients trusting us with their health.
Twenty years of families sending us their friends and loved ones.
Twenty years of incredible team members walking through our doors.
Twenty years of stories, relationships, challenges, transformations, laughter, hugs—and more memories than we could ever count.
And the truth is...
**We wouldn't be here without YOU.**
So throughout October, we're going to celebrate the people and stories that have made these 20 years possible—and share a few of our favorites along the way.
And because a 20th anniversary deserves a little something extra, we're celebrating with:
💙 **$20 New Patient Appointments — all October**
💙 **20% OFF all products — all October**
If you've been thinking about getting connected with us—or you know someone who's been putting their health on the back burner—October might be the perfect time.
But more than anything...
# # # **THANK YOU.**
Whether you've been with us for 20 years, 20 days, or you're just discovering The Wellness Connection...
We're grateful you're part of the story.
And we're pretty excited about what the **next 20 years** will bring.
👇 **We'd love to know: How long have YOU been connected with The Wellness Connection?**
Some of you have been here almost from the beginning. 😊

**IF YOU WANT TO FEEL BETTER, START WITH THESE 5 THINGS.**
Health advice can feel overwhelming.
Supplements. Wearables. Cold plunges. Red light. Peptides. Special diets.
There will always be something new to try.
But before worrying about optimizing everything...
**How are you doing with the fundamentals?**
🚶 **Move your body.**
🥗 **Eat more real, whole foods.**
😴 **Protect your sleep.**
🧘 **Find healthy ways to manage stress.**
💙 **Stay connected to people who matter.**
Here's the important part:
# # # Don't try to fix all five at once.
Choose the ONE that would make the biggest difference in your life right now.
Take a walk after dinner.
Build your next meal around protein and whole foods.
Go to bed 30 minutes earlier.
Put your phone down and take ten quiet minutes.
Call someone you haven't talked to in too long.
**Small choices don't feel dramatic.**
But repeated long enough, they can create dramatic change.
💙 **THE CONNECTION QUESTION:**
Which one are you choosing this week?
**MOVE • NOURISH • SLEEP • RESET • CONNECT**

**WE MAKE HEALTH COMPLICATED.**
Sometimes the biggest improvements don't come from the newest supplement, wearable or health trend.
They come from getting really good at the basics.
💪 **MOVE** — Walk, lift, stretch, play. Your body was made to move.
🥗 **NOURISH** — Choose more real, whole foods and enough quality protein.
😴 **SLEEP** — Protect your recovery as seriously as you protect your schedule.
🧘 **RESET** — Stress is part of life. Finding healthy ways to manage it matters.
💙 **CONNECT** — Spend time with people who make your life better.
You don't have to overhaul your entire life this week.
**Pick ONE and make it 10% better.**
That's how sustainable health is built—not through perfection, but through small choices repeated consistently.
👇 **Which foundation needs the most attention from you right now?**
**1 — Movement**
**2 — Nutrition**
**3 — Sleep**
**4 — Stress**
**5 — Connection**

Feeling like you’re “going crazy” during perimenopause? There may be a very real hormonal reason why.
Hormonal changes during perimenopause don’t just affect your body—they can affect your brain, emotions, mood, and the way you feel day to day.

**WHAT IF YOUR SYMPTOMS ARE MORE CONNECTED THAN YOU THINK?**
Low energy.
Brain fog.
Poor sleep.
Achy joints.
Digestive changes.
Difficulty managing your weight.
It's easy to look at each one separately.
*"I'm just tired."*
*"That's just my knee."*
*"I'm probably stressed."*
*"I guess this is part of getting older."*
But here's something we want more people to understand:
# # # **Your body doesn't operate in separate departments.**
Sleep can affect energy.
Stress can affect sleep and digestion.
Nutrition can influence blood sugar and energy.
Movement can influence metabolic health, strength and how you feel.
And inflammatory processes can involve multiple systems throughout the body.
**Sometimes the symptom getting your attention isn't the whole story.**
💙 So here's this week's **Connection Question:**
**Have you ever wondered if several things you've been experiencing could actually be connected?**
If you've been addressing one symptom after another but still feel like something is missing, maybe it's time to stop looking at each piece individually...
…and start looking at the bigger picture.
That's a big part of what **Getting Connected** means to us.
Connecting the dots.
Asking better questions.
Looking for answers.
And creating hope for what comes next.

Sometimes raising healthy kids really is as simple as letting them go outside, get dirty, and be kids.
In Episode 94, we talked about why real-life socialization, outdoor play, and even exposure to dirt and germs can be an important part of raising healthy, resilient kids.

**Ever feel like you’re doing everything you’re supposed to do… but still running on empty?**
Low energy is easy to dismiss.
*“I’m just busy.”*
*“I’m not sleeping enough.”*
*“I guess this is what getting older feels like.”*
But energy isn't just about making it through the workday.
It's what allows us to **live the life we want to live.**
⚡ Stay active
🧠 Think clearly
💪 Keep doing the things we love
❤️ Be present with the people who matter
🌎 Say YES to more of life
And while there are many reasons someone may struggle with fatigue, one thing we believe strongly at The Wellness Connection is this:
**Don't simply accept feeling lousy as your new normal.**
Start with the fundamentals—quality sleep, movement, hydration, nutritious food, stress management and meaningful connection.
And if you're doing the right things but still don't feel like yourself?
**Start asking WHY.**
Sometimes better health begins with asking a better question.
💙 **We'd love to hear from you:**
**If you had MORE ENERGY, what would you do more of?**
Travel? Exercise? Golf? Play with the kids? Be more productive? Just enjoy life?

YOU SLEPT 8 HOURS. SO WHY ARE YOU STILL TIRED? 😴
Here's something worth knowing:
More sleep isn't always the same as better recovery.
Two people can both sleep eight hours.
One wakes up refreshed.
The other immediately starts thinking about coffee.
Why?
Because sleep quality matters too.
Stress, alcohol, pain, late-night eating, your sleep environment, medications, sleep disorders and even inconsistent bedtimes can influence how restorative sleep feels.
So this week, try something different.
For seven mornings, don't just track how long you slept.
Rate how RESTED you feel from 1–10.
Then look for patterns.
What happened the night before your best mornings?
💙 QUESTION: What's your biggest sleep struggle?
A) Falling asleep
B) Staying asleep
C) Waking up tired
D) Not getting enough hours

You can spend 8 hours in bed and still wake up tired. 😴
Because better sleep isn't only about how long you sleep.
It's also about how well your body recovers while you're there.
Quality sleep plays an important role in:
🧠 Focus and mental clarity
⚡ Energy
💪 Recovery
❤️ Mood and emotional health
🛡️ Healthy immune function
And sometimes improving sleep doesn't require anything complicated.
Try this tonight:
Put your phone away 30–60 minutes before bed.
Keep your bedroom cool and dark.
Try to go to bed around the same time each night.
Avoid a heavy meal or too much alcohol close to bedtime.
And give yourself permission to actually rest.
Because sleep isn't laziness.
It's recovery.
💙 Now we're curious:
What's YOUR biggest sleep struggle?
A) Falling asleep
B) Staying asleep
C) Waking up tired
D) Not getting enough hours
